Export variables

You can export all variables from your Figma file as a JSON file.

1. Open the plugin and go to Import / Export
2. Select Export
3. A JSON file will be downloaded to your machine

Use this to back up your token set or share it across teams and projects.

Import variables

To load a previously exported variable set into a Figma file:

1. Open the plugin and go to Import / Export
2. Select Import
3. Choose your JSON file

Importing will create or update variables in the current file based on the JSON contents.
