Cloud Library is a Token Tools PRO feature that lets you store variable sets in the cloud and reuse them across any Figma project. Once a set is uploaded, it can be loaded into a new file in seconds — no re-importing JSON, no copying between teams.
Cloud Library is available on the PRO plan only.
Limits
- Upload up to 10 variable sets to your account
- Each set is private to your license
- Available in any Figma project where you are signed in to Token Tools
Upload a variable set
- Open the plugin and go to Import / Export
- Under Cloud Library, enter an optional file name to identify the set
- Click Upload
The current variables in your file are uploaded as a single set.
Use a saved set in another project
- In the new project, open the plugin and go to Import / Export
- Click Load / Refresh cloud list
- Your uploaded sets appear in the list below
For each set, you can:
- Load into project — applies the variables to the current Figma file
- Download — exports the set as JSON to your machine
- Delete — removes the set from your cloud library
When to use it
Cloud Library pairs naturally with Import / Export. Use Export to ship a JSON snapshot to teammates without a license; use Cloud Library to reuse sets across your own projects without re-importing.
